Bishkek, May 5, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Wednesday 397 new COVID-19 cases, raising the national tally of infections to 96,958, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 reported.
A total of 248 recoveries were reported over the past day, taking the national count to 90,394 while 7 deaths were reported, pushing the tally up to 1,637.
Currently, 1,563 patients with COVID-19 are being treated in hospitals throughout the country, including 70 in intensive care units, while another 2,378 patients are receiving treatment at home.
A total of 5,016 lab tests were conducted in the country over the past day.
