Bishkek, July 26, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, July 26 a plane of Aeroflot - Russian Airlines on the Moscow-Bishkek route has arrived in Kyrgyzstan.
410 Kyrgyz citizens, including 17 young children have been returned to the homeland from Russia, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
This charter flight was performed as part of implementation of agreements, reached by the Kyrgyz, Russian Foreign Ministries in accordance with the instruction of President and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic as part of the ongoing work on the return of Kyrgyz citizens, located in foreign countries because of temporary closure of borders and the suspension of international passenger air traffic due to the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the world.
In view of the large number of people wishing to return to their homeland, the passenger list for this flight were compiled by a Commission, consisting of representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora, employees of the Embassy and the Internal Ministry’s representative office in Russia.
In particular, students studying at Russian universities, women who are late in pregnancy and have young children, as well as citizens who have serious illnesses and previously left for the Russian Federation for surgical operations and other urgent medical procedures, valid reasons for return, associated with the death of close relatives were returned to the homeland.
The work on the return of Kyrgyz citizens who are in foreign countries and wish to return to their homeland continues.
