Kyrgyzstan reports 1,147 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, July 24, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan reported on Sunday 1,147 news cases of coronavirus infection, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development Zhalalidin said during a briefing.

Thus, the country's total tally of infections has amounted to 156,152 since the outbreak of the virus.

Another 1,306 patients with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 coronavirus infection have cured in the past day, bringing the total number of recoveries to 133,144.

Rakhmatullaev added that 11 new deaths from coronavirus were recorded in theast 24 hours.

Thus, as of today Kyrgyzstan's death toll from the disease stands at 2,238.

4,143 coronavirus patients are receiving treatment in hospitals of the republic, while 15,060 compatriots are being treated at home.
