Bishkek, Sept. 16, 2022. / Kabar /. 11 victims of the incident on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border were admitted to the Batken Regional United Hospital at 10:00 on September 16, the health coordinator of the Batken region said.
“All healthcare organizations and the ambulance service of the Batken region have been transferred to an enhanced mode of operation.
There is a sufficient volume of blood components, medicines and medical products in hospitals, to provide medical care,” he said.
Earlier, on September 15 it was reported about 3 local residents injured as a result of border incident, including a 11 years old child.
The Tajik side showed armed aggression on September 14, at 08.00 a.m., in the Bulak-Bashi area, starting shelling from firearms and mortars. As a result, 10 civilian objects were damaged, and 3 local residents were injured, including a 11 years old child.
Today, September 16, the Tajik side again began shelling the border detachments of Kyrgyzstan and the positions of the Kyrgyz side in Batken Oblast from small arms and group weapons.
