Kyrgyzstan reports 128 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Oct. 3, 2020 / Kabar /. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan rose to 47,184 on Saturday, after registration of 128 new cases.

The republican headquarters on COVID-19 said that among the new cases 10 are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 3,304.

The headquartersalso reported the recovery of 141 more patients, raising the total recoveries in the country to 43,278.

Meanwhile, 999 patients are still in hospitals throughout the country with 16 in intensive care units and 1,386 patients are receiving treatment at home.

The death toll in the country makes 1,066, with one more new death.

According to data of the headquarters, the current recovery rate of COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan is 91,7 percent and the fatality rate is 2,2 percent.

Kyrgyzstan recorded its first COVID-19 case on March 18 and the first death from the virus on April 2.
