17 new COVID-19 cases registered in Kyrgyzstan, 466 in total

Bishkek, Apr. 16, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan has reported 17 new COVID-19 cases, Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbaev told on Thursday.

Usenbaev said that among the newly infected 5 are medical workers, raising the total number of contracted medical workers to 104.

He said that the health condition of 11 patients is serious, 4 of them are in intensive care.

Thus, the total number of coronavirus infected people in Kyrgyzstan makes 466.

13 patients with a previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 are recovered.

“Repeated tests showed a negative result. They all recovered and were discharged home,” said Usenbaev.
