Bishkek, Apr. 18, 2020 / Kabar /. 17 new confirmed COVID-19 cases have been registered in Kyrgyzstan past day, bring the total number to 506, Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbaev told on Saturday.
He said that the most of new cases have been identified in Naryn - 11, Osh oblast - 5, Osh city - 1.
Among the newly infected there are no medical workers.
Usenbaev said that all over the country the number of doctors who have detected the COVID-19 virus remains 116.
Currently, 371 patients are being treated in hospitals with coronavirus infection, the deputy health minister noted.
12 patients are in serious condition, 6 patients are transferred to the intensive care unit.
16 patients with a diagnosis of COVID-19 were discharged from hospitals in the republic past day. In total 130 COVID-19 patients recovered throughout the country. Five have passed away.
