Kyrgyzstan reports 182 COVID-19 cases, 42,507 in total

Bishkek, Aug. 20, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported 182 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the total caseload to 42,507.

Nurbolot Usenbaev, the Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan said at online news briefing that of the total number of infected 3,059 are medical workers, including 14 new cases.

He also reported that 289 COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from hospitals over the past day, bringing the total recoveries to 35,486.

No one virus-related death was recorded in the previous 24 hours, the death toll in the country stands at 1,054.

In addition, 1309 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals.
