Kyrgyzstan reports 19 new COVID-19 cases. 621 in total

Bishkek, Apr. 23, 2020 / Kabar /. As of April 23 morning, 19 new confirmed COVID-19 cases have been registered in Kyrgyzstan, the country’s Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbaev told Thursday.

He said that 5 of them are medical workers.

He also noted that 48 patients with a previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 were discharged from hospitals per day. In total, 302 citizens were recovered from COVID-19 in the country, the deputy minister said.

11 COVID-19 patients are in hospitals in serious condition, 5 of them are in intensive care, he added.

Usenbaev said that a total of 321 patients are in hospitals throughout the country. 263 people are in satisfactory condition without any particular signs of illness.

Yesterday one more COVID-19 patient have died, totaling the death toll to 8.

The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in the country reached 621.
