Bishkek, May 2, 2020. /Kabar/. 2 patients with confirmed COVID-19 coronavirus infection died Saturday at the Republican Infectious Disease Hospital in Bishkek.
According to the Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus, one of the patients was a medical worker born in 1962, the second patient - resident of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast born in 1951.
"Both were diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia, severe illness, respiratory failure. Concomitant diseases: heart failure, diabetes mellitus, polyorgan failure", the report says.
Thus, death toll from coronavirus infection in Kyrgyzstan has reached 10.
As of May 2, 13 new cases of COVID-19 have been revealed in the country, 769 in total, including 200 cases among medical workers.
527 citizens have cured and discharged from hospitals, among them 122 are medics.
