Kyrgyzstan reports 20 more recoveries from COVID-19

Bishkek, Apr. 24, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, 20 more patients with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 have been discharged from hospitals in the past day, Chief Sanitary Doctor, Deputy Health Minister of the republic Nurbolot Usenbayev told a news briefing.

In the Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek 4 people have cured, in Osh city- 8, and in Dzhalal-Abad Oblast 8 people.

"Their repeated tests showed negative results. A total of 322 citizens have been cured of COVID-19 throughout the country," the deputy minister said.

As of Apr. 24, 25 new confirmed cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Kyrgyzstan, including 172 cases among medical workers.

There are 12 COVID-19 patients are in hospitals in serious condition, 5 of them are in intensive care.

8 COVID-19 patients have passed away.
