Kyrgyzstan reports 22 new COVID-19 cases taking total infections to 590

Bishkek, Apr. 21, 2020. /Kabar/. As of 10:00 a.m. on Apr. 21, 2020, 22 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country, Chief Sanitary Doctor and Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev said at a briefing at Government House.

8 cases have been revealed in the capital city of Bishkek, 3 in Osh Oblast, 6 in Osh city and 5 in Naryn Oblast.

Thus, as of 10:00 a.m. on Apr. 21, the number of cases of coronavirus infection has reached 590, including 147 cases among medical workers.

12 patients in hospitals are in severe condition, 5 of them are in intensive care.

A total 216 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals.

Death toll from COVID-19 has reached 7.
