Kyrgyzstan reports 22 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, July 8, 2022. / Kabar /. 22 new COVID-19 cases were registered in Kyrgyzstan on July 6, the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance reported.

According to data of the department, among 6 people were hospitalized.

Of 22 cases:

- 15 people came in due to the appearance of symptoms

- 3 people examined as contact persons

- 4 people were identified during the PCR test in connection with the departure.

Age structure of patients:

- up to 6 years 1 (4.5%)

- 7-17 years old 1(4.5%)

- 18-29 years old 5 (22.8%)

- 30-64 years 11 (50%)

- over 65 years old 4 (18.2%)

In total, 201,153 cases have been registered in the country since the beginning of the pandemic, the incidence is 3037.8 cases per 100 thousand population, mortality was 1.5%.
