Kyrgyzstan reports 230 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, April 16, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan on Friday reported 230 new COVID-19 infections, raising the total number of confirmed cases to 91,374.

Meanwhile, 130 more recovered from the virus, bringing the overall recoveries to 86,621, while 4 new fatalities reported, increasing the death toll to 1,544, according to data of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19.

Currently, 1,070 patients with COVID-19 are being treated in hospitals, including 35 in intensive care units, while another 1,173 patients are receiving treatment at home.

A total of 4,394 lab tests were conducted in the country over the past day.
