Kyrgyzstan reports 341 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Aug. 17, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Tuesday 341 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 172,668.

The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that 561 more patients recovered over the past day, raising the total recoveries in the country to 163,810.

The headquarters also reported 6 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 2,457.

Currently, 1,920 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 3,067 patients - at home.

Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccine jabs on March 29. 23,629 people received the COVID-19 vaccine in Kyrgyzstan over the past day. In total, 595,600 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered.
