Kyrgyzstan reports 470 COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Oct. 17, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Saturday 470 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 51,490.

The republican headquarters on COVID-19 said that among the new cases 21 are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 3,529, including 3,145 recoveries.

It has reported the recovery of 221 more patients, raising the total recoveries in the country to 45,509.

5 new deaths are reported over the last 24 hours, in total the pandemic has so far claimed the lives of 1,108 people in Kyrgyzstan.

Currently, 2,353 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 2,049 patients - at home.
