Bishkek, March 3, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported 48 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, raising the total infections to 86,359 nationwide.
According to data of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, 49 more recoveries were registered over the past day, taking the count to 83,318.
The pandemic has so far claimed 1,468 lives in Kyrgyzstan since March 18, up by one in the past 24 hours, the headquarters said.
Currently, 355 coronavirus patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country, with 14 of them in critical condition. Another 275 patients are receiving treatment at home.
4,097 tests for the virus have been carried out in the country over the past day.
