Bishkek, Aug. 18, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyz authorities confirmed on Wednesday 534 more recoveries from COVID-19 coronavirus infection, taking the total number of those cured to 164,344.
The country’s tally of infections has reached 172,937 after 269 new cases of coronavirus were detected in the past day.
Meanwhile, 5 new virus related deaths were reported, taking the nationwide count to 2,462.
According to the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, 1,823 people are currently hospitalized across the country and 2,894 patients are receiving treatment at home.
