Bishkek, July 11, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Saturday 552 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total number to 9,910.
Head of the public health care department of the country’s Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova said that said that the latest infections are from 2,767 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Among the newly infected 79 are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 1,529 including 546 recoveries, she added.
Akmatova said that 102 patients have been discharged from hospitals per day and in total 3,236 patients who were tested positive for COVID-19 had recovered from the disease since the outbreak of the virus.
She also reported 3 new virus-related deaths, raising the total number of death toll to 125.
Meanwhile, 631 people remained hospitalized, 25 patients are in intensive care.
In addition, 5,918 asymptomatic patients are in home quarantine.
