Kyrgyzstan reports 89 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Sept. 5, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Saturday 89 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 44,316.

The republican headquarters on COVID-19 said that out of the new cases 4 are medical workers, in total 3,149 medical workers contracted the virus.

The total number of people having recovered from the virus reached 39,648 after 222 new recoveries were recorded over the past day.

Currently, 577 COVID-19 patients are still in hospitals throughout the country and 4,097 patients are receiving treatment at home.

It has reported no death from COVID-19 during the past 24 hours. The nationwide death toll stands at 1,061.
