Kyrgyzstan reports 9 new COVID-19 cases. 665 in total

Bishkek, Apr. 25, 2020 / Kabar /. As of April 25 morning, 9 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Kyrgyzstan, the country’s Health Minister Sabirzhan Abdikarimov told Saturday.

Thus, the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in the country reached 665.

Abdikarimov said that 3 medical workers have been infected past day, making the total number 175.

“65 of them have recovered and started to work,” the he said.

There are 13 COVID-19 patients are in hospitals in serious condition, 6 of them are in intensive care, the minister added.

He also noted that 23 patients with a previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 were discharged from hospitals per day.

“Their repeated analyzes showed negative results. In total, 345 citizens were recovered from COVID-19,” the minister said.

Abdikarimov said that a total of 312 patients are in hospitals throughout the country.

8 COVID-19 patients have passed away.
