Tashkent, Aug. 26, 2018. /Kabar/. Representative of textile businesses from Kyrgyzstan will take part in the First International Uzbekistan Textile Conference, which is to take place on September 4 of this year, the press service of the Uztextileprom Association reported.
The Uzbekistan Textile Conference will be devoted to the latest trends in the industry, development of international textile technologies, certification and digital marketing, scientific researches on working out “smart” textile.
In particular, the sides intend to discuss development trends of textiles clusters, organic cotton sales projects, matters of certification of textile product for the European market, expansion of textile products assortment, exports increase, current state and prospects of the world textile industry, legal relations regulation system in the area of e-commerce, digital technologies in textile and clothes industry, trends of fashion industry.
In addition, the Bangladesh model for the growth of Uzbekistan textile industry is planned to be considered.
The event includes presentation of unique opportunities for creative business, provided by Uzbek and international textile companies, as well as advantages in the area of ready-made clothes supply as compared with traditional analogues methods.
The participants of the event will, along with discussion on the current state and prospects of the world cotton market, gain more information on conditions created for attracting foreign investments to Uzbekistan textile industry.
The conference will also be attended by representatives of textile businesses from Germany, Switzerland, South Korea, China, Russia, India, Japan, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, USA, France, in total, more than 30 countries of the world.
At present in Uzbekistan there are more than 150 active joint textile and garments-knitwear enterprises, 50 of which are with 100% foreign capital. The bulk of disbursed foreign investments come from Turkey, Korea, China, Singapore, Switzerland, Germany, Great Britain, Russia.
Textile and garments-knitwear enterprises constitute 4,6 % of the country’s GDP.
