Bishkek, Jan. 25, 2019. / Kabar /. A meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan in the format of a videoconference with the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The talks were attended by Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Oleg Pankratov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Sergey Gorkov, representatives of ministries and departments dealing with the 21st meeting of the Kyrgyz-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation and the Eighth Interregional Kyrgyz-Russian conference, as well as the forum of rectors.
At the conference, the participants discussed issues in the field of energy, education, the supply of goods and transport, industry, agriculture and migration.
Also during the meeting, the Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation discussed the creation of a trade and logistics center in southern Kyrgyzstan. The logistics center will be created jointly with Uzbekistan.
As a result of the conference, the sides came to a common opinion and understanding on the issues on the agenda of the meeting, a consensus was reached on many issues.
