Kyrgyzstan, Russia discuss bilateral co-op issues in social sphere

Bishkek, Jan. 25, 2021. /Kabar/. Acting Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Elvira Surabaldiyeva held phone talk with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova.

Surabaldiyeva noted Kyrgyzstan appreciates the strategic nature of the Kyrgyz-Russian partnership and aims to further strengthen diversified relations with the Russian Federation. She expressed gratitude to the Russian side for its support and humanitarian assistance in preventing the spread of coronavirus infection.

During the conversation, the deputy PM of the two countries exchanged views on topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the social sphere.

Surabaldiyeva and Golikova discussed the epidemiological situation in the two countries and measures taken to prevent the spread of new strain of COVID-19, the vaccination of the population, as well as further interaction between the Health Ministries of Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
