Bishkek, Mar. 26, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and Russia need to bring cooperation in the field of education to a new level, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Pariaent) Yevgenia Strokova told at the conference “Youth of Russia and Kyrgyzstan: New Horizons of Cooperation” within the upcoming state visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan.
She said that actively developing countries are focusing specifically on young people, since it is investment in the future.
“One of the priority directions of the policy of any country is youth development, in this respect Kyrgyzstan is no exception,” she shared. “Cooperation in youth policy will contribute to this. We belong to many international organizations, and, naturally, cooperation in education will be very important. It is necessary to bring it to a new level. The topic is very important.”
She further noted that it was necessary to develop joint projects in sports, tourism, business, the latter, in her words, will show how much our youth can trust each other.
“Now there is a lot of negativity in the more open information field, which is why we need such projects,” she concluded.
