Bishkek, Nov. 19, 2021. / Kabar / . A meeting was held on Thursday between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev and Russian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Nikolay Udovichenko, the press service of the Kyrgyz MFA said.
The sides discussed current issues of Kyrgyz-Russian bilateral cooperation, interaction within international organizations, exchanged views on regional security issues, and synchronized their watches on plans for the coming year in terms of foreign policy events including mutual visits at high and the highest levels.
Attaching importance to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia in 2022, Kazakbaev and Udovichenko noted the need to organize joint events to mark the historic date.
The interlocutors expressed their readiness for further active interaction to strengthen the Kyrgyz-Russian relations in the spirit of alliance and strategic partnership.
