Bishkek, Jan. 20, 2022 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan and Ural Region of Russia plan to expand cooperation in the field of tourism, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported Thursday.
Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Yekaterinburg Ruslan Biybosunov and President of the Ural Tourism Association Mikhail Maltsev held a meeting.
Biybosunov expressed gratitude for the active cooperation in tourism, highlighting the mutual participation of delegations in the international tourism exhibition LETO-2021 in Yekaterinburg and Issyk-Kul ITF - 2021 "I AM NOMAD" in Cholpon-Ata, the revival of tourism exchange last year. The consul general proposed to continue active interaction this year.
Maltsev shared his views on the development of the international tourism industry in the context of the spread of coronavirus, spoke about the ongoing work of the Ural Tourism Association and upcoming events.
During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on the adoption of additional measures, the implementation of joint activities to further expand cooperation in tourism and increase the tourist flow between Kyrgyzstan and Russia’s Ural.
