Bishkek, Oct. 11, 2023. / Kabar /. In Kyrgyzstan, there has been a decrease in the incidence of ARVI (acute respiratory viral infections) and influenza, the Ministry of Health reported.
According to to the weekly monitoring of the incidence of influenza and ARVI, in the 40th week of this year (03.10 - 08.10.23), 4,408 cases of ARVI were registered throughout the republic, compared to the previous week (week 39 4563 cases) there is a decrease in the incidence of ARVI by 1.0%.
Of all cases, 61.1% are children under 14 years of age (2,693 cases).
Currently, flu vaccines are distributed to all regions of the republic, flu vaccination is underway and people from risk groups will be vaccinated first.
