Bishkek, Dec. 3, 2021 . / Kabar /. For the first time in the past two years, Kyrgyzstan reached positive economic growth rates despite the ongoing pandemic of coronavirus infection, the press service of Kyrgyz president reported.
Within January-October 2021, the GDP amounted to KGS 556.6 billion and real growth rate amounted to 101.6% while in January-October of 2020 it was 92.7%.
By the end of this year, it is planned to ensure growth rate of up to 3%, which indicates a gradual recovery from the crisis and economic recovery of Kyrgyzstan.
Regarding the indicators of the republican budget, according to preliminary data, the total volume of total revenues for January-November 2021 amounted to KGS 162.0 billion. In comparison with the corresponding indicator of the previous year, total budget revenues for 2021 increased by KGS 46.8 billion.
The volume of tax revenues in the period under review amounted to KGS 118.8 billion, or 100% of the plan, having increased by KGS 37.3 billion in comparison with the same period of last year.
In general, the republican budget, based on total revenues and total expenditures, was executed with a surplus of KGS 334.0 million.
The amount of benefits from Oct. 1, 2021 increased by 50%, and from 2022 will be increased by 100%, and some benefits - by 200%.
Reconstruction of Batken Oblast as a result of events that occurred on the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border is being carried out.
In order to develop the system of state mortgage lending and provide citizens with affordable housing, the authorized capital of State Mortgage Company OJSC was increased.
To ensure an uninterrupted supply of electricity to consumers in the country in the autumn-winter period of 2021/2022, KGS 2.9 billion were allocated from the budget.
In addition, the leadership of the country decided to set electricity tariffs for low-income categories of citizens from Jan. 1, 2022.
Thus, the state fully financed all socially significant expenses, including wages, allowances and pensions.
