Bishkek, Jan. 8, 2025. / Kabar /. An organizing committee has been created to prepare and hold the VI World Nomad Games, which will be held in 2026 in Kyrgyzstan. The corresponding order was signed by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov has been appointed Chairman of the organizing committee.
The organizing committee has been instructed to:
– develop and approve an interdepartmental work plan for the preparation and holding of the VI World Nomad Games;
– approve the rules and regulations for the Games in terms of sports;
– draw up a cost estimate based on the planned events.
The World Nomad Games are a large-scale international project of the Kyrgyz Republic aimed at reviving, preserving and developing the culture of nomadic civilization.
In 2014, 2016 and 2018, the World Nomad Games were held in Kyrgyzstan. The 2022 and 2024 World Nomad Games were held in Turkey and Kazakhstan, respectively.
