Kyrgyzstan shares its successful experience in building SDG monitoring system

Bishkek, June 18, 2020. /Kabar/. The National Statistics Committee of Kyrgyzstan shared its experience in building a monitoring and reporting system for indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) at the Open SDG international virtual workshop, the press service of the Committee reported.

The event was organized by the UN Statistics Division (New York) and the UK Office for National Statistics.

During the workshop, Head of the National Statistic Committee of Kyrgyzstan Nazira Kerimaliyeva spoke about the national reporting platform of the Open SDG KG, which meets all international requirements, and the use of the latest data and metadata exchange standard SDMX.

It was noted that Kyrgyzstan is in the list of advanced countries in building a SDG monitoring system and the introduction of SDMX standard.
