Kyrgyzstan should become regional center of technological transfer – President

Bishkek, Oct.4, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan should become the regional center of technological transfer, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov said during the “Digital Transformation in Central Asia” conference.

The conference is taking place in Kyrgyz capital Bishkek.

“This is our ambitious goal,” the President said. - We need to master advanced technologies and disseminate them to others. We strive to become a country that is a catalyst for change, supplying new technological solutions and innovations to the EAEU, SCO and WTO. Therefore, we must support the production of our own IT products and technological projects, startup initiatives and research in this area”.

President Jeenbekov noted the need to create technology parks and laboratories.
