During a press conference at Kabar News Agency, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Nadira Dzhusupbekova told that the admission of children of school age to all general educational institutions of the country for 2022-2023 academic year through electronic school enrollment has been simplified.
She added that starting from 2022, electronic enrollment in schools will be held throughout Kyrgyzstan in all towns and villages. This system ensures equal rights to enroll every child in school.
"There is no need to attach a copy of a passport, a child's birth certificate, a certificate of residence. I note that the requirement of a certificate of residence has been eliminated," the deputy minister explained.
Further, Dzhusupbekova added the system gives priority to such categories of children as children of military men of their families, children of ethnic Kyrgyz who moved to Kyrgyzstan and have the status of Kairylman (ethnic Kyrgyz who have resettled or wish to resettle in Kyrgyzstan) if they present the relevant certificates, children of teachers and staff members of schools who have worked in the given institution for at least 1 year.
In addition, children who are in the process of adoption and who do not have documents are enrolled in schools directly without electronic enrollment.
