Bishkek, Apr. 9, 2019 / Kabar /. The first meeting of the Joint Working Group to coordinate bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Czech Republic was held in Bishkek, chaired by Deputy Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Eldar Alisherov from the Kyrgyz side and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Alexandra Rudysharova from the Czech side.
The press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that at the end of this meeting, the Protocol and the Regulations on the Joint Working Group were signed.
The sides noted the successful holding of the above events and expressed hope for further progressive and fruitful development of Kyrgyz-Czech relations.
The Czech delegation led by Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Marta Novakova visited Kyrgyzstan.
Within the framework of this visit, a Kyrgyz-Czech business forum was held, which was organized by the JIA Business Association and the Czech Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the event, a presentation was made on the investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the opening of the forum, Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Oleg Pankratov and Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Kyrgyz Republic Rudolf Gilk signed the Agreement on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of tax evasion on income and capital.
Also, Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Oleg Pankratov and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Martha Novakova signed an agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
The forum participants noted that the possibility of expanding the legal framework through the conclusion of two international documents will make it possible to intensify interaction between the two countries in such areas as trade, investment and entrepreneurship.
