Bishkek, Dec. 11, 2017. /Kabar/. Annual recounting of livestock and poultry in has started in Kyrgyzstan since Dec. 10, the department of agriculture statistics of the National Statistics Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
In order to ensure timely and quality organizing of recounting of livestock and poultry throughout the country, responsible staff is formed responsible for the preparation and recording of livestock and poultry. On the whole, 9,778 people are involved in this process.
The cattle and poultry that are in all categories of farms, irrespective of the forms of ownership in state, private farms, subsidiary farms of industrial, transport, construction, educational institutions and other enterprises and organizations, farms, private subsidiary farms of the population, collective gardens, the cattle and poultry located in remote objects (shepherds' houses, wintering grounds and others) are also subject to counting.
From 10 to 25 December local self-government bodies recount livestock and poultry in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic as of the end of 2017.
