Kyrgyzstan starts livestock vaccination

Bishkek, March 27, 2024. / Kabar/. Vaccination of livestock has begun in Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Agriculture reported.

The regions were provided with free vaccines against anthrax, foot-and-mouth disease, smallpox, sheep and goat plague, and diagnostic kits against glanders in horses. Pet owners only pay for the services of a private veterinarian. Spring local vaccination is carried out according to the approved plan against epizootics.

In addition, in order to conduct educational work among the population against zoonotic diseases, seminars and training are held in schools and kindergartens together with medical workers.
