Kyrgyzstan starts research on presence of antibodies to COVID-19

Bishkek, July 14, 2020. /Kabar/. At a news briefing at the Government House, Head of the Public Health Department of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova said the republic has started conducting research for antibodies to COVID-19.

"At the end of May, we reported that conducting enzyme immunoassay studies has begun. These research were started in private laboratories after receiving all necessary permits. Thus we will be able to obtain all information about COVID-19 coronavirus infection in the human body," she said.

"Based on these studies, we will be able to find out whether a person is sick or had already got coronavirus and whether he has antibodies," Akmatova said.
