Bishkek, Sept. 7, 2020. /Kabar/. The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan has developed the fourth version of the clinical protocol for the treatment of COVID-19 coronavirus infection and started using it into practice.
According to the Health Ministry’s chief pulmonologist Talant Sooronbayev, treatment of coronavirus and rehabilitation of patients after recovery remains under control of the ministry.
"We have good news! The Ministry of Health has developed and approved the fourth protocol for COVID-19 treatment. Scientific methods of treatment of patients, international recommendations, etc. were included here. The peculiarity of the fourth version of the clinical protocol is that it contains multilateral consultations and treatment methods. It specifies in detail how to treat patients in hospitals, outpatients, how to treat patients who have concomitant diseases, how to treat children, etc. There is also a separate chapter on patient’s rehabilitation," Sooronbayev said.
“Whatever the disease is, everything is treated according to a new protocol,” the pulmonologist added.
Kyrgyzstan has registered 44, 458 cases of novel coronavirus so far, including 39, 960 recoveries and 1, 611 deaths.
