Bishkek, Feb.1, 2020./Kabar/. The epidemiological situation in Kyrgyzstan is under the control of the country's Health Ministry, and preventive measures are continuing, the ministry's press service said.
Work has been intensified at sanitary-quarantine sections on Kyrgyzstan's borders with China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, as well as at Manas and Osh airports.
A total of 22 sanitary-quarantine stations (SQS) are operating in the country, and their staff carry out round-the-clock control using a thermal imaging camera.
On Jan. 30 Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kosmosbek Cholponbayev checked the readiness of the Torugart SQS in Naryn Oblast.
In total, about 22 thousand 500 people were examined at sanitary-quarantine sections during Jan. 30-31, 2020.
