Bishkek, Dec.9, 2024. /Kabar/. The 37th meeting of the CIS Council for Cooperation in Health Care took place in Russia’s St. Petersburg, where Kyrgyzstan was represented by a delegation headed by Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev.
As part of the visit, the minister held working meetings and study tours in the leading federal medical centers and institutes of the Russian Federation, the press service of the Health Ministry said.
The delegation visited the Russian Scientific Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics named after R.R. Vreden of the Russian Health Ministry, they familiarized with advanced treatment and rehabilitation techniques in the field of traumatology and orthopedics. Special attention was paid to the use of innovative technologies to restore the functions of the musculoskeletal system.
Then the minister visited the N.N. Petrov National Medicine Research Center of oncology, and discussed with the leadership of the Center the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the field of oncology. The possibility of signing a memorandum of cooperation between the National Center for Oncology and Hematology of Kyrgyzstan and N.N. Petrov National Medicine Research Center of oncology was considered for the exchange of experience, joint research and training.
The H. Turner National Medical Research Center for Children’s Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery presented unique approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of complex traumas in children. The Kyrgyz delegation noted the importance of adopting experience in the field of pediatric orthopedics and the development of specialized care for children.
Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev emphasized that strengthening cooperation with Russian medical centers is of strategic importance for the development of health care in Kyrgyzstan.
