Bishkek, Nov. 29, 2024 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan is transitioning from paper labor book to electronic one, Deputy Director of the State Agency for Public Service and Local Self-Government Maksatbek Sargazakov said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He noted that the State Agency together with the Infocom State Enterprise has developed an automated information system "Electronic Labor Book" on the e-Kyzmat platform.
"This system will allow a complete transition from paper labor books to electronic ones, ensuring the availability of data on the labor activity of employees in digital format," Sargazakov said.
The official also emphasized that the transition to the electronic format allowed to reduce the cost of paper by at least 50%.
"Analysis for 10 months showed that it was possible to save KGS 112 million, which is equivalent to 1,000 tons of paper," he added.
The project has been at the stage of pilot operation since Oct. 23 this year. It is being implemented in the State Agency for Public Service and LSG, the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration, as well as the Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic.
