Bishkek, Nov. 22, 2021 . / Kabar / . Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev and Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin met in Dushanbe in the framework of participation in European Union - Central Asia dialogue.
The interlocutors discussed the prospects of economic cooperation, as well as facilitation of mutual travels of citizens and liberalization of cargo transportation between the countries, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministers said Monday.
"Touching upon issues of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, the foreign ministers noted the significant role of the organization of mutual Days of Culture, joint sporting events, maintaining contacts at the level of youth and academia," the report reads.
Kazakbaev and Mukhriddin expressed their firm intention to work together to further expand and deepen the historically established relations of friendship and good neighborliness between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan and to solve all disputed issues exclusively by political and diplomatic methods.
