Bishkek, July 9, 2021. / Kabar /. A delegation of the Prosecutor General's Office of Kyrgyzstan, led by Prosecutor General Kurmankul Zulushev, took part in an international conference of heads of prosecutor's offices of European states in the city of St. Petersburg, Russia, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic said.
The event was attended by the heads of the supervisory authorities of the CIS countries and representatives of the Prosecutor General's Offices, Ministries of Justice of the member states of the Council of Europe.
In accordance with the agenda, the conference discussed the role of the prosecutor in criminal, civil and administrative processes, as well as topical problems in the field of combating cybercrime, illegal migration and environmental crimes.
Also, within the framework of the visit, Prosecutor General Zulushev held a number of meetings with the prosecutors general of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Russia.
As a result of the meetings, the parties drew attention to the increased activity of international cooperation in the provision of mutual legal assistance and the extradition of persons, the continuation of the exchange of experience and the resumption of work to improve the qualifications of personnel in various areas of prosecutorial activities.
