Bishkek, March 6, 2024. /Kabar/. The delegation of Kyrgyzstan takes part in the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) Aviation Security Group (AVSEC) meeting in France.
This event is taking place at the office of the European and North Atlantic Bureau of ICAO in Paris, the State Agency of Civil Aviation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
At the meeting, issues such as risk assessment, cybersecurity in the field of aviation security, aviation security culture, implementation of the Global Aviation Security Plan, etc. are discussed.
The European/North Atlantic Regional Office of the International Civil Aviation Organization, located in Paris, promotes and monitors the implementation of regulations (including standards and recommended practices (SARPs)) and plans in 56 (of 193) ICAO Contracting States. The Bureau organizes the provision of training and advice for the effective implementation of regulations ICAO SARPs and plans to improve the safety, efficiency, environmental protection, sustainability and viability of the world's civil aviation system, including the ICAO European and North Atlantic Regions.
