Bishkek, April 4, 2024. / Kabar/. Representatives of the State Civil Aviation Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic took part in the second meeting of the Aviation Security Coordination Group in Almaty.
The following issues are discussed at the meeting:
- re-election of the chairman and deputy chairman of the Coordination Group;
- preparation for the ICAO audit in the field of aviation security and simplification of formalities;
- harmonization of legislation in the field of aviation security of the countries participating in the Coordination Group;
- the process of introducing an aviation safety culture in the countries participating in the Coordination Group;
- practice of assessment activities for quality control in the field of aviation security;
- initiative to create the Eurasian Civil Aviation Conference, etc.
The Aviation Security Coordination Group was created for the purpose of regional cooperation in the field of aviation security in the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus, which includes Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
