Kyrgyzstan team won 5 medals at Asian Wrestling Championship

Bishkek, May 15 / Kabar /. The national team of Kyrgyzstan won 5 medals at the Asian Championship in Greco-Roman, Freestyle and Women's Wrestling, which was held in New Delhi, India.

The first medals of the national team were brought by wrestlers of Greco-Roman style Samat Shyrdakov (weight category up to 80 kg) and Nurgazy Asangulov (up to 71 kg). Both athletes won bronze medals.

The only gold medal was brought by Aisuluu Tynybekova (up to 58 kg), becoming a two-time Asian champion.

In the last days of the competition freestyle wrestlers Muslim Yevlayev (up to 74 kg) won sliver and Magomed Musayev (up to 97 kg) won bronze medals.

In total, the national team of Kyrgyzstan was represented by 17 sportsmen.
