Bishkek, Jan. 25, 2018 / Kabar /. In connection with the coming cold weather, Kyrgyzstan reduced the export of electricity to Uzbekistan by 100 megawatts, chairman of the Board of the National Energy Holding Aibek Kaliyev told at the meeting of the republican headquarters for the preparation for the autumn-winter period in Kyrgyzstan.
Aibek Kaliyev said that an agreement has been reached with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to temporarily stop the export of electricity from tomorrow due to the coming cold weather.
He said that the export of electricity began in December 2017.
