This decision was made by the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 in connection with the emerging epidemiological situation, the number of cases is increasing.

The Republican Health Protection Center said that all 75 employees underwent express testing at the Ministry of Health today, January 10.

“So far, no infected have been identified among the collective. If any of the employees tests positive, they and their contact persons will be isolated. Depending on the state of his health, he should be prescribed appropriate treatment,” said Nurida Zhusupbekova, head of the Department of Medical Aid and Drug Policy of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan.

Also, according to her, ministry employees receive a booster dose from the coronavirus. Vaccination is one of the best ways to prevent illness. It is necessary to be vaccinated to achieve herd immunity.

As of January 10, 2022, 198 new COVID-19cases were registered in the republic per day.
