Kyrgyzstan, TIKA discuss bilateral cooperation issues

Bishkek, Dec. 13, 2021 . / Kabar / . Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Istanbul Lira Sydykova met with President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) Serkan Kayalar.

During the meeting, the sides noted the fruitful cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, exchanged views on topical issues related to the implementation of ongoing and planned projects of TIKA in Kyrgyzstan in the areas of health, tourism, culture, etc., the press service of the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan said.

Sydykova emphasized that since TIKA opened its office in Kyrgyzstan in 1993, the agency has made a significant contribution to the development of the Kyrgyz Republic, implementing dozens of projects in all spheres of life.

In addition, she expressed the readiness of the Consulate General to provide full assistance in the implementation of projects.

In turn, TIKA President Serkan Kayalar congratulated his interlocutor on appointment as Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Istanbul.

He noted with satisfaction that the Organization’s first office abroad was opened in fraternal and friendly Kyrgyzstan and assured that all previously planned projects will be implemented, also outlined the prospects for further cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain close mutual cooperation.
