Kyrgyzstan to adopt program to support and develop women's entrepreneurship

Bishkek, Nov. 19, 2021 . / Kabar / . A program to support and develop women's entrepreneurship for 2021-2026 will be adopted in Kyrgyzstan as part of the economic downturn related to COVID-19 pandemic, Minister of Economy and Commerce of the republic Daniyar Amangeldiev said at Kyrgyzstan-Tatarstan business forum held on Friday in Bishkek.

"The Cabinet of Ministers plans to adopt the program as part of anti-crisis measures to support entrepreneurship in the country," he said.

The minister added that 5 programs were also developed as part of the activities:

- Presidential decrees "On Protection of Property and Support of Entrepreneurs and Investors" and "On Additional Measures to Protect Business Entities" were issued;

- Amendments to the Criminal Code, the Criminal Procedure Code and the Code of violations of the Kyrgyz Republic;

- Amendments are being made to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Inspections of Business Entities";

- Institute of Business Ombudsman was established;

- A moratorium on inspections of entrepreneurs by law enforcement and fiscal authorities was introduced;

- A new version of the Tax Code is being developed;

- Electronic fiscalization was introduced (electronic invoices, marking of goods, online cash register, electronic patent, electronic reporting with an electronic signature, automated control system for filling stations);

- Information portal of license and permit documents was launched (http://www.elicense.gov.kg/);

- Principles of green economy are being implemented.
